About Me
From a young age, I've always been interested in computers. After receiving a Co-Op degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo in 2012, I've worked tirelessly to hone my skills as a developer.
While I have experience in Scheme, Python, Java, Javascript, Typescript, VB, and C#, I'm currently primarily focused on the .NET ecosystem, and am a huge fan of C#. I'm a backend developer at heart, and like to focus on optimiziation,
performance diagnostics, and unit testing.
I've been in a leadership role at my current employer since late 2019, and I find that I am an effective mentor, delegator, planner, and organizer. I am steady under pressure and a focused, hard worker, but I do not micromanage.
I have experience in Scrum and Kanban agile methodologies, and can effectively lead a team under those frameworks. I am a clear communicator and am comfortable leading meetings and directing projects.
In my spare time I enjoy movies, board and video games, and serving at the beck and call of my cat, Leia.
